Battle Creek Base Saved

According to WOODTV 8, the Battle Creek Air National Guard Base will not close. The A-10 fighter jets of the 110th Fighter Wing will move to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, as the Pentagon suggested, but the 300 jobs at the base will remain there. Governor Jennifer Granholm can than move some or all of the fighters back to the Battle Creek base if she sees fit, as it is now up to the state which of the two bases is more useful.
