Cindy Sheehan

The protest by Cindy Sheehan is still continuing. President Bush has not met with her scince her start of here protest at the presidents texas ranch.

Sheehan, whose son, Casey, was killed in Iraq in April 2004, said today she remains committed and wouldn't leave until Bush tells her why her eldest son had to die in what she claims to be an unjust war.

A White House spokeswoman reiterated today that Bush met with her last year, sympathizes with her and respects her right to peacefully protest. There was no indication that the president would meet with Sheehan as she continued into her 11th day of waiting.

This protest has gotten national attention and Sheehan has stated that she will NOT leave until Bush talks to her or until the end of his month long vacation in Texas.
