Critics of Hurricane Response Grows In Number.

According to CNN the former Secretary of State Colin Powell, said on ABC 20/20 interview that "There have been a lot of failures at a lot of levels -- local, state and federal." And according to WBSN 10 "First lady Laura Bush describes [comments by rapper Kanye West and Howard Dean] as 'disgusting'." The comments blamed President Bush for the lack of response to Hurricane Katrina because most of the people affected by the hurricane were black.

In more news about the relief effort, FEMA director Michael Brown is being replaced by Coast Guard Vice Adm. Thad Allen, as the on-site head of hurricane relief operations because of many complaints about Brown not doing his job effectively and Brown's resume is also said to contain inaccuracies, according to a Time Magazine report.
