More Abuses In Iraq

As reported by Al Jazeera, the Iraqi Islamic Party "...calls for an international inquiry into abuse at a secret prison in Baghdad where inmates were reportedly tortured, beaten and starved."

This comes after the military of the United States is still reeling from its own allegations of abuse. Now, Iraqi's are torturing, beating, and starving other Iraqi's. Now a government seen to have been put into power by the US is following the US in torture as well.

This could not come at a worse time for Bush. He is currently at a summit in Asia to promote economy and confront China on communism. This is another distraction that will bring the attention away from possible success of Bush to his massive failures. Bush must change his tactics or all he will be known for is failure. He must not only push the good more, he must also decrease on the amount that can be criticized of him. Because his poll numbers are low, most people want to see change. But because Bush states, he will not listen to poll numbers. This will only increase the divide between Bush and the majority of Americans. If Bush wants to ever have more support in the future, he must start doing more pro-active work and GET THE POLL NUMBERS UP!!
