Iran

U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said that Iran is "still interested in 'serious and constructive negotiations' with the European Union on its nuclear program" according to a Reuters News Article.

Many people have been quick to condemn Iran for the nuclear program that they currently have. Iran could be a danger but they also could be a peaceful nation. We must try and resolve this issue without threats and without war, for a war with Iran would strain and break the United States beyond what it already is. Iran is a Islamic country and the Islamic world - US relations is currently strained and a war or threats of war is not what the US currently needs. We must resolve this issue without war and with peace.

The United States does not have enough power or support for a war with Iran, or any other country, and we must avoid even the proposed threat of war. The US is still recovering from our choice to invade Iraq and we must not start another war just as another one looks as it might be starting to downsize.
