The Year Ahead

The year ahead will lead to a make or break for both Bush and the Republican Party. Bush will either see his approval rating increase or see it stay were it is. The possibility of it going down farther than it is currently is far from happening as he would have to loose much, if not all, of the Republican support. Also the '06 mid-term elections are being held. The Democrats have a chance to take power in the House and a small change to take power in the Senate.

The Democrats must become more aware to there allies and foes in America as a whole. Republicans must reach out across party lines to insure the power that they currently hold does not fall out of there reach.

Both political parties must do much more work to confer to the other side of the isle and both need to capitalize on the opponents missteps, which are happening more frequently than they have been in the past.
