President Bush Hits Low
In a USA Today/Gallup the Presidents approval rating stood at only 31%. The disapproval rating stood at 35%, with 5% unsure. An AP-Ipsos poll put the approval at 33% and disapproval at 65%. These numbers are not getting a help from Iraq either. This according to a poll by CNN that found that "More than half those who disapproved of Bush's job performance -- 56 percent -- said the war in Iraq was the reason." The President must look at what he can do to help himself and in turn help the Republicans in Congress. These low rating cannot help him accomplish any goals in his second term, with over 900 days still left in office.

Don't forget to look at your own posting for April 25. Does it look familiar?
Now he has hit a new low of 31%. Thats a drop of 1% to a NEW low. Thats all I was posting about. Yes it is a posting on the same issue, but with NEW stats.
I would think that you Democrats would be pleased that President Bush is so wounded that he cannot get his agenda passed in his second term. I'm sure you are opposed to his agenda and his goals. Maybe stalemate is the best thing for the country. Then, in January, 2009, a new vision for the country can take hold under Democratic leadership. Can you think of any new programs or laws that a Democratic president and Democratic congress should enact in 2009?
