A video of Saddam's execution has been leaked online. It is believed to be from a witnesses' cell phone, which would account for the poor video quality. I will not post the video on this blog, but if you want to watch the video, it may be found on many websites across the Internet. This video has been reported on just today (Sunday). It shows the moments right prior to the execution and the act itself, followed by moments of blackness when the camera was panned down, then followed by a few shots of Saddam hanging.
Saddam has also been buried in the same cemeteray as his sons, Uday and Qusay, who were killed in 2003 during the US invasion of Iraq. According to CNN.com, "Salam Hassan al-Nasseri, one of Saddam's clansmen who attended the interment told The Associated Press" that "I condemn the way he was executed and I consider it a crime.".
