Props has to be given to all the top three finishers in the categories (of ones I could find) of the Travel + Leisure magazine survey of America's Favorite Cities. But I must point to the Twin Cities as they are a great city and they placed in many categories, including:
1st in Cleanliness
2nd most Intelligent
2nd in Public parks and spaces
2nd in Theater
3rd most Friendly
3rd in the Overall Cityscape
The best rating for the Twin Cities was peoples access to the outdoors and the worst feature was the weather (no surprise there!).
(ratings for visitors, visit Travel + Leisure magazine's website for results of surveys of residents, although the results are very close in most categories)
