CAFTA

The proposed new alliance of CAFTA or Central American Free Trade Agreement will only cause problems. Already with NAFTA, the US has had many problems and we must not add to these problems. Not just for the US but it also makes it "more difficult for the six nations that have signed the trade deal with the United States to escape heavy debt burdens or to prevent or recover from debt crises." This is a very big problem. This will stunt growth and endanger the economies of those countries on top of high competition with heavily subsidies that the US gives its farmers that the other CAFTA member nations do not have. This would make the economies of Central America not only slow but they may also crash.
