Energy Bill Passes Congress
This new energy bill has passed Congress and is expected to be signed by President Bush. But it is BAD for the average american. In this time of "tax breaks" and a "slow economy", we are giving 14 BILLION dollars to the standard energy companies. These are the companies that produce energy with coal, gas, nuclear means. This bill doesnt give more than a few hundread dollars to an average American that actually looks for the tax breaks. But gives billions to these corparations that are already earning billions off of the high oil prices. This must stop. Even the White House wanted this bill to not top 7 billion dollars. But yet again, the people in congress are not looking out for the good of the average American and looking for the self intreast of the donors to there campaigns.
