Slowdown in Broadband Expansion in USA
According to the BBC, growth of broadband last year was only 3%. Of all of the people online, broadband is only about 53%. But many Americans still don't even have any connection to the internet. Only about 67% of Americans are currently connected to the internet. The report says that this slowdown is because the market that broadband providers are trying to switch is dial-up users, and it is very hard for many of those people to switch over. The world is getting ahead of the US and we are now playing catch-up.
