Bush States He Will Not Listen

"There's some background noise here, a lot of chatter, a lot of speculation and opining." - Bush 10/20/05

Bush also said "The American people expect me to do my job, and I'm going to." This is what the American people should come to expect. Bush has had so much recent criticism: Katrina relief, CIA leak investigation, Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers, and not to mention Iraq. This means that he will do his job, and not listen to others. A president is one person and needs to listen to others, even if he doesn't agree with them. This statement means that he will do what he wants and not listen to ever growing criticism. This is something that needs to change.
