According to a statement released by the military, a recent bombing which hit the wrong house had "successful effects against the insurgents." The bombing killed 6, with two family members escaping. The bomb was off by 65 feet.
The bomb was dropped after a "unmanned surveillance plane" saw three insurgents go into the house. A U.S. Navy F-14 Tomcat jet dropped the bomb after it strafed the building once.
The military has bombed wedding parties and killed many innocent civilians along with this new report. The military is not purposely targeting innocent civilians, but they must investigate a target before they hit it. Too many civilians have been killed by the US led war and occupation.
