CIA leaker named
Mary McCarthy was fired for leaking classified information that led to the story about a network of secret CIA prisons being published. This announcement has brought praise for finding the person who leaked the information, but also puts a double standard for who are investigated, including the leak of CIA officer Valerie Plame to the press. This leak is thought to originate from within the White House. But so far only Louis "Scooter" Libby has been indicted in the case. But the reports that have so far come out have shown that he was not the person who authorized the leak of the information. That person is still at large. This is setting a double standard for people who work for the government in general and people who work for the president. We must not set this double standard or else we set up the argument for unlimited power for the president.
