It has been awhile but it has been vacation so this is my start of blogging again right before the New Year.
This topic I have blogged about in the past but this is one of the biggest ideas to come by recently about the presentation of current events.
"The Real News is the flagship show of Independent World Television" and it "will launch as a daily world news hour in late 2007."
Major Themes Of The Real News Will Be:
The Real News starts with what we think are the major stories we will cover (as described in our business plan):
• The undermining of democracies, human rights, and international law
• The waging of illegal wars, occupations and terrorist attacks
• Impending irreversible environmental damage and the movement for solutions
• The intensification of the global struggle for control of oil
• The threat of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons
• Millions suffering in poverty and the movement to find new models for development
• Deteriorating living standards and movements to defend working people's interests
• Inaction to stop the AIDS carnage in Africa and Asia and the work to find solutions
• Government and corporate corruption and the movement for accountability
• People with vision, models and policies for creating a better future
