President Rating

At the start of this year, Mr. Bush's ratings slumped, to as low as 30% in a poll by CBS, conducted 1/1-1/3. It is at 35% in a CNN, conducted on 1/11. With such low numbers the President will have a difficult time achieving his goals for this coming year including Iraq and the next budget which he will propose shortly. He must not only think what he wants to accomplish but what the AMERICAN PEOPLE want to accomplish. With compromise (the base of democracy) Mr. Bush will be able to get at least some of what he want done because with a Democratic Congress he WILL NOT GET EVERYTHING HE WANTS. No matter how much he tries some of what he wants won’t happen.
