President Bush And His Approval

Mr. Bush has yet to bring his ratings up saying well below 50%, a number of even a majority of Americans. In the most recent poll conducted by CNN (3/9-3/11) the presidents approval rating stands at 37%. In a CBS poll (3/7-3/11) Mr. Bush's approval rating stands at 34%. In each poll, his disapproval rating is over 50% and pushing 60%.

In a CBS poll (2/23-2/27) Mr. Bush had dropped to 29%.

Congress has an approval rating no better than our great president. In an AP-Ipsos poll (3/5-3/7) Congress stood at 33% approval and 63% disapproval. But the last time Congress was above 50% was February of 2002, with ratings going back to 1998 hovering around 50% with the ratings fluctuating between 40% and the mid-50% range.
