Cindy Sheehan

According to ABC News, "Cindy Sheehan, the California woman who became a leader of the anti-war movement following her son's death in Iraq, was arrested Monday along with dozens of others protesting outside the White House...Sgt. Scott Fear, spokesman for the U.S. Park Police, said they would be charged with demonstrating without a permit, which is a misdemeanor."

And what has this done for the movement. It has again brought the media on this issue, bring the attention away from the recent hurricanes and back to the poor job that George W. Bush is doing in Iraq. This is bound to only hurt the president, but it was the law that the police were inacting, but it will still bring more attention to this issue. This issue will not go away, and different times like this, will keep this issue in everyones mind.
