Bush Approval Rating On The Rise
After the slump of last month, Bush now stands at 40% approval. This according to a recently released New York Times/CBS News Poll. This is in part to the improving economy. But Iraq is still a big part in the continuing slump of President Bush. The President needs to change some of his currently policies or he will be a liability for the Republican Party coming into very important mid-term elections. This mid-term election could be the undoing of the Republican majority or an increase in the party strength. But before the elections are held, Mr. Bush needs to get the ratings up if the Republicans will have a chance on holding off any Democratic attacks.
