President Bush: Job Ratings

After the Republicans lost control of Congress this past month, President Bush's approval rating went from about 40% in most polls to its lowest at 31% in a Newsweek poll (11/9-11/10). And over that same time period, in a USA Today/Gallup Mr. Bush stood at 33%. But now in a CNN poll (11/17-11/19) his rating is up to 38%. But as the control of Congress has switched to Democrats, Mr. Bush will have little to do than talk to Congress and attempt to get his way. But this is not likely to happen and this lame duck Congress will have little to do until the 2008 Presidential election.
