The Real News and Arianna Huffington

Arianna Huffington, the one who started The Huffington Post, sat down with one of my favorite news sources, The Real News (which was formally International World Television, which I have previously posted about) and talked about the media, John McCain, and Barack Obama in separate segments.

It is good insight and comes from Arianna, who has become a major player in the world of news, although all the work is contained online, and online alone, showing the real potential of what the internet has done for awareness and information. Between news sites like The Real News, commentary and major blog sites, such as The Huffington Post, and the numerous blogs of every day people from around the world, information something which can be accessed by almost anyone. In some cases and in some countries, that free flow of information is sadly curbed or completely controlled by a few select people or a single government interest and that is something which everyone must stand up to!
